Mike passed away on February 19, 2014 in St. Petersburg, FL at the age of 60 due to complications of an illness.  After passing the Florida Bar in 1978, he began a long career in law.  He fought for justice for his clients and continued to educate himself, eventually teaching classes at Stetson University of Law, lecturing and authoring a number of professional publications.
