Michael D. Harrison, 48, of 17 Highland Street, West Springfield, died Saturday, May 30, 1998. He was born on March 16, 1950 in Springfield and raised there until 1966, moving to East Longmeadow where he graduated from the high school in 1971. He was a bartender and waiter in the Boston and Springfield areas for 20 years. He had also lived in Boston before relocating to West Springfield 10 years ago. Michael leaves his father John R. and brother Jerome R. of Agawam. He also leaves three sisters Sandra M Lapointe and Paula Brooks of Springfield and Cheryl Pajak of Palmer. He also leaves his friend Gary Morgan of West Springfield. Graveside services will be held Friday, June 5 at St. Michale's Cemetery in Springfield. There are no calling hours. Hafey Springfield Chapels is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Paula Brooks, 8 Blake Hill, Springfield, MA 01108 for the decedent's grave marker.
