Gary J. Ritchotte STURBRIDGE - Gary J. Ritchotte, 58, of Arnold Rd., passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 7th, 2012, surrounded by his family in the Harrington Memorial Hospital, Southbridge, after a courageous battle with cancer. He leaves his first love, soul mate and wife of 18 years, Rosemary (Herard) Ritchotte; two sons, Paul Ritchotte and his wife Shantell of Southbridge and Phillip Ritchotte of Yucaipa, CA; two daughters, Trish Carleton and her husband Jay of Oakham and Jessica Town of Spencer; two brothers, Kenneth Ritchotte of Shickshinny, PA and Randy Ritchotte of Corona, CA; his mother-in-law, Patricia Pratt of North Brookfield; his uncle, Donald LoMascolo and his wife Mary of East Longmeadow; eight grandchildren, Nathan Carleton, Mikayla Ritchotte, Nolan Carleton, Dylan Ritchotte, Makenna Carleton, Brayden Ritchotte, Brendan Carleton, and Leahyana Ritchotte; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was born in Springfield the son of Kenneth and Barbara (LoMascolo) Ritchotte. Gary was a salesman for Raymour and Flanigan Furniture in East Springfield until his illness. He previously worked for Rotman's Furniture and Jordan's Furniture. Gary was an avid photographer. He loved music and playing guitar. He also loved fishing and golfing. His funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 11th, at 11:00am in the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge. Burial will follow in St. Anne's Cemetery, Sturbridge. Calling hours in the funeral Home will be held on Tuesday, April 10th, from 5:00 to 8:00pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cancer Center at Harrington Memorial Hospital, 100 South St., Southbridge, MA.
